Lachrymal stars, Their mantle about me. Ethereal in frozen isolation. Frozen and alone as I am! The interminable silence Of void within void; A cosmic graveyard for my devil. The scrim of mortality's frost, my cage! And so a slumber does this spirit steal, From all temporal death, To rise again from this speckled Hades.
Arise!
Let thy heart seek again refuge of rime And rouse thy Grievous Angel once more. Meet with strife the dawn of false light, For behold! The spears sent from the sun Neither forgotten nor taken back shall be!
Spread thy wings and shelter with thy cloak. Draw again the sword of fallen constellation, For as cursed are the rays of the coming morn, Blessed night must fall again! |
